Credit Card Problem - I'm Extremely stupid, but need HELP.?

I%26#039;m a student with the Royal Bank of Scotland, and around two years ago I was asked by proxy if I wanted a student visa. I said, yes, as long as the limit was capped at the lowest amount, for emergencies only. So, I got a RBS Visa with a limit of 鎷?00. However, my ex had, at the time, a large debt that was urgently needing paid, so I paid that amount for her. Now heres where things go mad - She left me shortly afterwards, leaving our home we%26#039;d had together with most of our stuff - which included, unbeknownst to me at the time, all my visa statement stuff. At the same time this Visa itself went missing - Im assuming she took it too. I moved out, and wrote a hand-written letter to the bank explaining my situation and to make my new address my home address (parents address I%26#039;d used to get the card in the first place) but I received no notification. I tried four months later and received nothing. I went into the bank who have no knowledge of the visa account...

Make one final contact with RBS and ask them to certify in writing that they have no record of an account in your name.

In your letter, provide your name, mailing address at the time the Visa was applied for, current mailing address, and date of birth. Please ask them to search their records for any account bearing your information.

Explain that you need this certification in writing since you fear a former acquaintance is trying to use your credit without your approval.

Best of luck to you!
