of all fleet accounts/debt. Now BOA has charged the debt off and sold it to another collection copmpany. I am making payments to that collection company. I asked boa to remove their negative item from my credit and they are saying that It wont drop off for the next 7 years because for some reason they are saying thaty had ownership in 2007 so it wont get of my credit till 2014. Can some one advice me please?

That%26#039;s what you get for using a credit card and not paying what you charged.

You were delinquent on payments and that%26#039;s what happens. It happens to anyone that does that. What makes you so special?

in USA , negative credit stays on report SEVEN years from last activity not start.
so for all real purposes negative credit stays Forever and a day.

what happens is that a debt drops off your credit report after it has been INACTIVE for 7years. the original creditor sells your debt to a debt collection company after 5 years, that new company that owns the debt then post the info to your credit report. thus a new transaction, making the 7 years start all over again. just keep paying the bill or save some money and offer them a settlement. they bought your debt for pennies on the dollar and if you can pay them a lump sum, it will save you some serious money. it%26#039;s going to be on your credit report regardless.
