Are there lower interest credit cards in Canada other than Capital One?

I recently attempted to transfer debt to a Capital One Prime +1 card and was turned down. Is this a blessing in disguise? I%26#039;ve heard there is a downside in that Cap One tries to keep its customers from getting cherrypicked by other credit providers by not publishing their cardholders%26#039; credit limits, only the debt they%26#039;re servicing. This gives the appearance of bad credit to competitors. Is this the only downside to these kinds of cards? Should I try for Capital One%26#039;s Prime +4.9 when I%26#039;m eligible to reapply?

There are many cards with different rates. Check with ALL financial institutions. Alot of times, the %26#039;low interest rate%26#039; cards from places such as Capital One and MBNA are just introductory rates. Be sure to read all the fine print ! Many times, you can get better rates from the %26#039;non-brick and mortar%26#039; banks such as PC Financial, ING, etc... Personally, I have not heard good things about Capital One.
