i am 100% that i can file bankcruptsy, i alreayd talk with the lawyer, and I will go see him friday., but i need groceries, and some milk,. is it against the law for me to keep getting in debt right before i file chapter 7? pls help

It is ILLEGAL to intentionally drive up your credit cards just to file Bankruptcy. That is called fraud...

It is legal to purchase the necessities of life. It is not legal to make extravagant purchases that are unnecessary. If you do so, the judge may refuse to discharge the debts.
