Has anyone dealt with Care One Credit?

I see that Care One Credit has a Debt Resolution Program (DRP) that can negotiate settlements with your credit card companies. I am $22,000 in debt, and I would like to hear from anyone who has worked with this particular company in this particular program.

Please avoid these companies without first checking them out with your local attorney general or the federal trade commission - their site has approved money management programs - they are usually recommended to those who are considering bankruptcy - since you are only $22K in debt I would try and work out your debt -

I am employed with one of the top credit reporting agencies and have seen people that have given their money to these companies and their bills never got paid -

Also, check their rating with the better business bureau in your area as well to see if they are listed.

I used Care One a while back and I was happy with them. At that time they only offered the Debt Management Plan. My bills were paid on time and the payments were automatically withdrawn from my savings account. I did everything online and never had to speak to anyone. And they didn%26#039;t charge outrages fees either.

I%26#039;m not sure about their resolution program, sorry. You can always talk to them and see what they offer. If it doesn%26#039;t sound right, you can always walk away.

I%26#039;ve always settled credit accounts myself. But if you don%26#039;t think you can do it, you always have options.

well, I dont know anything about the particular company, but from what I have read in general about these types of companies,its a BIG BEWARE and stay away from them because a lot if not most of them, take your money and never pay the bills for you

you are better off negotiating your debt yourself - its pretty easy - just call the companies up - tell them you want to pay off the account,but you cant afford to pay the entire amount, and you want to make a settlement deal
